About this beach

A shallow, reef sheltered stretch on the south coast, at the western end of the Richard Haynes Boardwalk. The water is usually calm and shallow well out from the sand, which makes it one of the better beaches on the island for small children and for anyone learning to swim. Parking is on Worthing Main Road and fills by mid morning at weekends.
